How about this for a holiday treat? Performing live at Gruene Hall on Wednesday, December 26th, Casey Donahew Band will prolong your Christmas joy for yet another day with their energetic tunes, heartfelt lyrics, and, above all, a commitment to a good time. Check it out next week!
Texas tornado Casey Donahew kicked off perhaps his biggest year yet in October 2011 – arguably jumpstarting his career – with the release of his fourth studio album, Double Wide Dream. A testament to Casey Donahew’s growing popularity, the song “Double Wide Dream” is a perfect example of the Burleson native’s ability not to take himself or anything else too seriously and just enjoy the ride – and what a whirlwind of a ride it is becoming for this sensation as he skyrockets closer and closer to country superstardom!
Selling out venues across the country, the Casey Donahew Band continues to thrill crowds each week with a combined frenetic onstage energy and everyman likeability, and media outlets around the country are starting to catch on to what the fans have known all along – this guy knows how to rock it.
Gruene Hall, built in 1878, is Texas’ oldest continually operating and most famous dance hall. By design, not much has physically changed since the Hall was first built. The 6,000 square foot dance hall with a high pitched tin roof still has the original layout with side flaps for open air dancing, a bar in the front, a small lighted stage in the back and a huge outdoor garden. Advertisement signs from the 1930s and 40s still hang in the old hall and around the stage.
Don’t miss Casey Donahew Band live at this beloved Texan landmark! Chris Colston will open. Tickets are 25 dollars. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
At Waterford Park Apartments in Converse, Texas, we pride ourselves on informing our residents about all the upcoming events our beautiful community has to offer. Don’t hesitate to join this event on Wednesday!
