Remember the Alamo! Luckily for You, This Musical on Saturday Makes It Easy

Celebrate the 184th anniversary of the Alamo Battle with a special one-night-only event! This Saturday, Tobin Center for the Performing Arts proudly presents Remember, a musical about the infamous battle and its impact on Texan history. Don’t miss this moving tribute on Saturday, February 29th at 2:00 p.m.

The Alamo and The Tobin Endowment proudly present the world premiere Remember, a musical honoring those who gave their lives for Texas. Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston, Davy Crockett, Carlos Espalier, Jim Bowie, and William Barret Travis sought better lives in Texas, a land of liberty, a land of new beginnings, a land of hope. And at the heart of the story, of Texas and all Texans to come, is the Alamo.

“As a native Texan, this is a story I think all of us hear from the time we are young,” stated Corey Cowart, the Symphony’s executive director, in a news release. “The Symphony is proud to be the soundtrack for the stories of San Antonio, past, present, and future.” A musical concert featuring a 60-piece symphony, 11 actors and 100-voice chorus, this powerful performance speaks to the legends, the lore and the spirit of Texas. If you love the Alamo, it will touch you. If you love great music, it will move you. If you love the theatre, it will speak to you. If you love all three, it will be a performance you will never forget.

Proceeds from this production will benefit Remember the Alamo Foundation. The official philanthropic entity for the Alamo, the mission of the Remember the Alamo Foundation, established in 2015, is to provide support exclusively for the Alamo and its preservation, education, and programs. Remember will show one day only, which is this Saturday, February 29th at the Tobin Center. Tickets are available for purchase online at and the Tobin Center Box Office.
